Need help hanging a large heavy quilt.....

Is there anyone that knows how to sew a sleeve onto the back of my LARGE HEAVY quilt? I asked at the quilt shop for advice on how to hang it and they told me that I need to sew a sleeve onto the back to help with the weight when I hang it. I can then hang it from a curtain rod, hung on the wall. They didn't really seem to want to assist with the actual sewing and since I don't know how to sew I'm hoping that someone here could help me. Has anyone out there done this before? Would you like to make a few bucks sewing a "sleeve" onto the back of a beautiful quilt?
